Brian Sturges is an actor, comedian, director, musician, producer, and screenwriter. He wrote, directed, and starred in the feature-length film, Wall of Flesh: A Vintage Comedy, awarded Best Comedy, Best Trailer, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Score throughout film festival circuits. Brian also composed, arranged, and orchestrated the Wall of Flesh: A Vintage Comedy soundtrack, which contains 21 Jazz Fusion compositions.
In addition to the film Wall of Flesh, Brian can be seen in ITW: Is This Wrestling, Elijah’s Ashes, Hawk & Rev: Vampire Slayers, and Hee alongside three-time Japanese Academy Award winner Kaori Momoi. He is an Executive Producer of short animated film, Dragonfly, currently in film festivals.
Brian’s on-stage credits include Candidate Confessions, The Lollygaggers, The Really Awesome Improv Show as well as various stand-up and improv performances at The Second City, iO West, and Flappers Comedy Club.
In 2015, Brian debuted his one-man show, Poor Life Choices, which he wrote, directed, and performed at The Second City Studio Theatre in Hollywood.
As a session player on guitar, bass, piano, and harmonica, he recorded for Red Lobster, Disney, and Warner Brothers Records. He was also the Musical Director for The Second City Hollywood premium show Hell County, Florida.
Brian directed several music videos and comedy sketches for both stage and screen. Brian completed writing the one-hour TV crime-drama pilot, Ravenskill currently in production as a graphic novel.
Brian is the owner of Poor Life Choices Productions and the founder of The Poor Life Choices Comedy Film Festival which donates 100% of ticket sales to The Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Brian studied music at Berklee College of Music, comedy at The Second City, screenwriting at UCLA, and acting at The Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio. He is member of SAG-AFTRA.
